I love norton.  Ive used it for 8 years.  The key is not to get the home product, you gotta goto cdw.com or something and get the commercial product.  Its like 60$ but its SOOOOOOO much better then regular norton.

You know you can disable it, right?  Disable for a while and then it turns itself back on.  But if its telling you your games are infected, you might have some issues....

Norton has always been a pain in the ass. Ralph should kick him straight to the moon instead of Alice.

I've got Symantec Corporate on my machines. I have never once had an issue, and it's protection as been rock solid. I can't even store my viruses in the open anymore, I have to have them all compressed. After a massive test, it withstood my attacks. So it gets my seal of approval. I've installed it on at least 30 machines (Thank god for volume licensing.) and it's been awesome. Never had it interfere with my installations either... If it starts to piss you off, chances are you've got an infection thats corrupted the virus protection sub-system.

Perhaps that could explain as to why your computer restarts involuntarily, Chris?
