Starting PC Repair Business - need some help!
« on: June 11, 2009, 09:01:26 AM »
All:

I'm starting an in-home PC repair business on the side to see how it goes.  My friends have been telling me to do this for years, so I'm finally going to try it out.

I'm having problems deciding a name which I need before I get business cards and a website.  The following is what I've come up with so far:

Byte-Able Solutions
Byte-Able Repairs
Screw-IT
Comp-Aid
IT Magician
IT Magic
Disks and Chips
Byte-Size Solutions
Byte-Size Repairs
GlitchBusters
ByteKnight Solutions
ByteKnight Repairs
ByteKnight Bill
Fix-IT-Bill
Tech By Hour
CompKnight Bill

Can I get feedback on the above names as well as more suggestions?

Thanks everyone.

i like GlitchBusters and Screw-IT. having byte in the name is kinda cheesy.

Wow... I can't believe that the forums are this dead... It saddens me...

At any rate, thanks GTC... but I have already decided to go with Fix IT Bill

mail: bill@fixit-bill.com
web: www.fixit-bill.com

Business cards will be ready tomorrow...

I didn't realize how cheap mediocre hosting was... I'm paying 8.75/mo for 1500GB bandwidth and 100GB space.  I got it from mydomain.com.  It's a shared linux server with easy web management...  AWESOME!

Not to hijack this thread, but I need help picking a name for my side business.  I used to use tech-heads, but now it seems too childish.  Help me pick something out.

First you hijack my thread... and now you want to steal some of my potential business...
