Xbox 360 LIVE problem

Ok so my neighbor has been having trouble with his live  can can connect then he gets DCd odly enough he can play fine on sundays even leavs it on over night to play on monday ...... u steped into his landlords fios network and fowarded the correct ports givin over the phone from xbox support worked fine for a few days now its back to disconnecting him oh yeah i double checked the ports nothing was touched by the landlord    any suggestions?

oh and i wanted to go to the last lan i just couldnt due to personal issues wheres the 7hmers that i once new huh?

there's a lot of different causes. it could be his ISP, it could be his firewall, it could be many other things. i think we need a little bit more info to be absolutely sure what it could be.

Drop the Xbox into a DMZ for a day or two and see if that fixed the problem. If it does then it's a firewall issue.

wow thought i lost this post and buged out guess not glad its still here thank you gtc and psi miss you guys

ok whats a DMZ? how do i drop it there?
we got the same isp so i dont think its that where would a fire wall be or is that on the primary comp cause we cnt access that and i guess that leaves us screwed

DMZ is short for demilitarized zone and yes it involves a setting on the computer that is acting as the firewall. A DMZ is basically a route through the firewall for a specific IP that doesn't involve any packet filtering so everything gets through.
