Popsikle, did not enough people come to the last LAN you guys had?

As for JulyLAN, it's too bad, because I was planning on coming as well as was Fiendslayer (I recently talked to him) and Cullem3n I think.

What if we had a pre-pay only LAN?  And if not enough people sign-up, cancel the LAN and refund money...  Just an idea, though I suppose it may not be that practical.

Or we could get a few of us together to front the money for the room to take the pressure off of one person. I personally will front cash to see the LAN held rather than have it not happen at all. Prepays would be good too, but a lot of people talk the talk then don't walk the walk.

Personally I'd LOVE to see Shell, PC, and Fiend at a LAN again. With enough notice I might be able to get Wolverine and his brother to come too.

How much are we talking about and what are the costs of the LAN broken down vs. how much we charge per person.

I forget what the room cost. I can look it up and get back to you. I think one room was like $400 and two was $800, but I think Popsikle sweet talked a nice deal with the chicka (mildyl hot redhead) at the hotel to get the room for like $200.

I really haven't had much to do with LAN planning lately. Sorry. I'll rope off the weekend to make sure I go if we have one, but Murphy is a cocksucker and likes to dangle shit like 16 hours of double time in my face just in time for the LAN.

You need to talk to Popsikle and get him to reserve the room for the day. Anyone can pay for it, all you have to do is foot the bill at the desk once the day comes.

From what I know from the last time I talked with pops (last octobers lan) the room is already reserved. Wether or not pops is up to making it happen I have no idea it seems he hasn't posted here in awhile and the days of may are withering away. But again, I'm going to be there with my girlfriend. Who knows if she'll play games but she can now so that's two heads paid for. I've been talking with whoever I see around town that might be interested (store clerks from autozone, walmart electronics kids, etc.) to try and get this website name out soooo lets put some info up, eh?

The room is reserved already.  I have no idea whats going on with the LAN, if you guys want to have it we can have it but I can not afford to go out of pocket as I am going away with the wifey the next weekend.
