Ok, so here I am a 26 year old married man who cant seem to find the time to be a gamer any more because of social requirements of my life...

Well fuck that.  Im tried of pretending to be an adult when all I want to do is get 40 people in a room and blow their fucking guts all over the room made of pretty pixels.  We need a LAN, and soon.  Im not talking something fancy assed like I have tried in the past, I just want a room + gamers.  Thats it, thats all we need right? Maybe a loose schedule, and some impromptu no prize tourneys.

What I need to know from you people, is do you care where it is.  Ive posted the options for LAN's above.  Its alot easier for me to do something in passiac or bergen because thats where I live now, but vote for the options that you would attend for a party mid august.

I chose Westchester cux I now live in Dutchess. Besides, we know a cheap hotel that puts up with our noisy asses (kinda).

BTW, Dio put up a bunch of old pictures from LAN 6.0 and such which have me thinking the EXACT same thing as you Pop. Lets do it.

PS....since I moved I have had the opportunity to sort through stuff and have all the LAN shit seperated and ready to go. Shit, even my computers are still packed so I can just drop em in the truck and off I go.

NO MORE XCUSES!

Uhm, actually, I love it up here so far. I'm just too damn lazy to drive farther than Westchester. :P Tho Bergen could work too as I could crash at the in laws house. :)

Hey...good to see ya all again!  I actually checked the forums a week or so ago to see when your next lan was.  I'm glad I didn't miss it yet.

This sounds like a really good idea.  I just went to Friday Night Frag two weeks ago because I need to find some time to play. RL sucks!  I like the concept of having a party to have fun...screw the sponsors and shit.  Just focus on the fun!

The only thing I have to watch out for is Showdown Lan in MA, and then Ubercon at the end of October.

I was just talking to iamnobody about having a game night for a few people at my place in dutchess county!   this sounds like it could be more fun! ( though a game night here isn't out of the question if theres interested parties)    I'm in wherever it may be
