Weekend Wars XXII

On June 14 Weekend Wars will be hosting a 48-hour, 100-man LAN.
It's our 22nd LAN, and registration will be opening soon.

More details will be forthcoming, but the venue is secured, along with the date.
June 14 & 15, 2008
Millville Rescue Squad

Millville, New Jersey 08332

It may be a drive, but it's well worth the trip.

Details on the site are limited, but I will keep this thread updated.

Actually I live in Northern Jersey, but Millville had a good venue.

I live almost exactly between Danbury and Millville, so it works out as long as things are not on the same weekend. Besides, I'll drive anywhere for a good LAN  :P

Well, you won't have to go all the way to Danbury, Elmsford is MUCH closer and a more compatible venue TBH. Plus the agent isn't a dick.

Registration is open and prepay is forthcoming.

The LAN will be $30 prepay and $40 at the door.

A waiver will be posted shortly that all attendees need to sign, and bring. Anyone under 18 needs it signed by their parent or legal guardian.
Extra copies will be at the LAN but if you're under 18 you still need your parent or legal guardians signature.
No waiver, no LAN.

The venue has a side room to sleep in for those who don't want to pay for a hotel. Hotel rooms are expensive, but showers are good. If there is interest we'll look into a group discount.

Weekend Wars will be providing the normal fare of cookies, chips, veggies and dip along with drinks. (Along with whatever other surprises Spike digs up for us!)There are also a lot of meal options in the area, chinese, fast-food, subs, etc.

As for games, right now we're looking at:
Call of Duty 4
Unreal Tournament 3 and 2004
Battlefield 2
Team Fortress 2
F.E.A.R. Combat
Company of Heroes
and all those other random games everyone has like StarCraft  :D

Weekend Wars 22 will no longer be a 100 man LAN, as we have to return to our old venue in Princeton.

The Millville Rescue Squad has canceled all their summer contracts in lieu of a more lucrative one with NASCAR.

Luckily Princeton had our dates available, so registration for our 40 man LAN in Princeton on June 14-15, is open.

Princeton is our normal venue, Millville was for a 100-man LAN.

So yes, the next one will be in Princeton.  Right now we're looking at August 23rd.
