i use Eset NOD32 anti-virus and i haven't had to worry about this happening. i've been using this along with Agnitum Outpost firewall for over 2 years now and theres nothing i've found that gets past it. nod32 not only scans for virus' but spyware, adware, malware and a plethora of other stuffs too and does so using minimal system resources. i wouldn't recommend anything else.
