I think my MOBO is dead.

Okay so this morning I tried turnning on my computer and all the lights and fans go on even my video card/cpu fan. Yet I get no video out put my computer does not even start to load my bios and my keyboard/mouse does not turn on(They are usb) yet my external hard drive turns on.. Or could there be anohter cause?

Yeah the other side is green  ;D

No my post boot does not start nothing comes up on my monitor at all. And I tried a diffrent video card already and that did not work. so I am still thinking the MOBO.

What kind of motherboard (brand name and model) is it? Is it still under warranty?

I love it
Everything you buy is like 20x more expensive than what I buy, breaks stupidly and never works again. My stuff is cheap ass ghetto crap that lights on fire and keeps on chuggin'.

Yeah I know but when it works it's great and the only issues I have had is the tv tunner thing over the summer a sound card fail and now this. but there has always been a problem with this comp from like a month after it was built there was like a month were I could not play any video games on it for some reason somthing with memory errors and for some reason it just started to work agian. And this is the only computer I have had issues with like this.

yea, i would RMA the board, since its under warranty they might not ask too many questions. just be like, yea, it just stopped working. play a little stupid but not too stupid and DFI will help you.

as for what pop said, physical bulging. does one capacitor look fatter and more rotund than others, or even leaking for that matter?

i work at a computer lab at my school and we get leaking capacitors frequently, usually due to the fact that there isn't enough air flow and they over heat. doesn't help when the computer is up against the wall and its just a faulty mobo design. damn dells.....

Yeah I think I will do that I just hope that this is the true problem. and for the over heating I think I am good I have four fans in my comp tacking air in from the front and out in teh back.

Oh yeah the one from barry right. yeah that is a big as fan it's like 4 times the size of a 120 fan.
