I think we should go to gamestop's, and game stores everywhere and ask them to let us place adds in the windows for the website, so that more members can come and more ppl could make the LAN's.

Great, except Gamestop doesn't carry much in the way of computer games and peripherals.

If compUSA was still around, that would probably be the best place.

But Gamestop would be better than nothing.

I think Syd used to post on Craig's List when we were advertising for LANs in the past. I found 7hm through the LanParty.com big list. We should definatly advert future LANs on all the big LAN lists. For one of the LAN I ran I even setup a meetup.com group.

Gamestop is usually pretty cool about posting game related shit in store. Can't hurt to ask.

the comp sci club at my school wants to throw their own LP and they asked me to help them. prob is that idk if the event would be open to the public and if it is, it will be in downtown NYC.

you can post whatever you want to Craigslist. Try to make sure you decide on someone with a knowledge for grammar and decent writing skills to make the posting. And keep it short and sweet or no one will ever finish reading it to care.

As for Gamestop, Rich had me pay for those 7HM business cards and someone handed them out there and left a stack by the register as well. Someone could do that for Coalition Lan also if you felt like it.
