I'm supposed to be getting an arthrogram for my shoulder on Monday. I dislocated it for the second time, last friday, after surgery that took place in early-March. The first time, they found that only a ligiment (the labrum) was torn and needed to be drilled and anchored together. That was a result of the first dislocation I had of the right shoulder in January. All was taken care of. No harm, no foul.
Now, I would need complete reconstructive surgery. They say it is a 97% success rate. Compred to my last surgery, a whopping 93% success rate.
It's either taking trips to the hospital every other three months becuase of dislocations. Or just get it all over with by more surgery.
It's all just frustrating for many reasons; how it can get in the way of important things, for one.
