well, apparently as of today, they are down until further notice. all servers on NRG are being blocked by vent. i dont know if theres a back up in place but it would be nice to have that going.....

I haven't been on Vent in a while,
and now I finally want to go on,
and what do my wondering eyes do I see,
but a licence termination notice,
after I've already paid my fee.

This must be a effin joke....  I have neither the time or patience for this kind of BS.

I paid for ventrilo last November/December (if I recall correctly), and thus I should have time remaining.  I'm not even sure what this licence termination means.

Popsikle, I paid via Visa CC through paypal service (they allow you to do a one-time CC payment through paypal service in order to pay NRG).  Can you advise ?

File a complaint with paypal, if they turn you down call up your credit card company and tell them you didnt get the service you paid for, and they will issue a chargeback.

$hell, I'm sure that you understand that its not YOUR ability to use the server, its NRG's license to host vent servers/use the ventrilo program. NRG hasn't paid ventrilo to use their software as a large user host.
