well, thrillist sent me this site today and its a little interesting. this site is a list of user reported signal strengths and locations sorted by carrier. granted its still in its infant stages so the map isn't going to have a ton of reports for what ever area you're in, maybe one or two but you'll get a decent idea of what kind of signal pick up you're going to see when you travel somewhere. i like the concept and hope it takes off. the site is simple and kind of plain, thus making it very easy to navigate but it won't really keep your attention for too long. its an interesting tool to know about and keep bookmarked.

Works here. It's just a googlemap overlay where people can enter in the signal strengths they get at various places on different networks. Reminds me of the site where you can enter prices at various gas stations.
