UPS FTL
« on: September 09, 2007, 11:36:55 AM »
Ok now this would be my 4th time having a problem with UPS.

Now One of my ECL members, *BUFU* had ordered 3 copy's of the UT2004 Anthology pack, so that we could practice for the UT2004 Tournament at HallowLAN this year.

Well we waited a few day's then it said they had attempted to deliver the games but none was home.

But everyone was home.

Then the next day we checked and said packages had been delivered.

The problem with that was.

WE NEVER GOT NO DAMN GAME.

They sent the game to someone else's house and now UPS does not want to take responsibility
for the screw up.

So now there goes 60 bucks down the drain, and some Spanish family is probably sitting around playing are UT2004.

Well now we are really up shit creak.

double check the address the packages were sent to and try to track down who screwed up. theres a possibility that the person/company you bought it from screwed up the address label or the local delivery guy is a complete moron and actually did bring it to the wrong house, but if thats the case and can be proven, UPS should take responsibility for their employee's mistake and either give you an equivalent value refund.

im not entirely sure but i think UPS does have a "consumer bill of rights" of sorts posted on their site.

Yea, UPS has to take responsibility if they delivered it to the wrong house, but thats not for you to fuck with.  Call up the guys you got it form, they will deal with UPS.
